​Since its establishment, Tzu Chi’s footprints have reached more than ninety countries/regions. This is Tzu Chi’s 50th anniversary. Since the very beginning, Tzu Chi’s care and help has never stopped. Wherever there is suffering, we see Tzu Chi volunteers dedication. The volunteers provide more than comfort for the physical and mental wellbeing, they also create a flow of great love that continues on.
And this spirit of great love started from Hualien in Taiwan, and connected to Massachusetts. The volunteers in Boston took the teachings, contemplate them and practice them diligently in establishing the Boston office. The great love since twenty years ago is here thanks to the generous support of our community. Tzu Chi Boston has worked in charity, medicine, education, and culture, spreading kindness with compassion and wisdom, in the hopes of nurturing the community with Tzu Chi’s teachings of kindness. ​
