This year marks TzuChi50 anniversary, as well as TzuChi NewYork's 25th anniversary. To celebrate the memorable, we will hold a charity concert “Thousands of Helping Hands” in Lincoln center on October 16th. The concert will honor Tzu Chi’s 50-year Bodhisattva and Tzu Chi New York 25th anniversary, and feature enchanting performances by the world-renowned China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe (CDPPAT), and Tzu Chi volunteers. The program includes the CDPPAT’s “My Dream”, a most extraordinary dance presenting the omnipotent benevolence of the One-Thousand-Hands Bodhisattva, and three performances by Tzu Chi volunteers, some using sign language: “Gratitude” aims to inspire eco-friendly living habits and respect for Mother Earth; while “From Vow to Action” and “Fulfill My Dream” showcase the timeless importance of perseverance and compassion. All the performances combine to convey the importance of universal and boundless love, and to motivate us to collaborate and undertake the Bodhisattva path.
